Getting started

How do I log my first dose?+

Tap the syringe icon in the tab bar, choose your peptide, set the dose and units, pick a route, and tap Log. That's it — your dose is saved and inventory decrements automatically if you have vials tracked.

How do I add a peptide to my vault?+

Open the Explore tab, find your peptide, and tap "Add to Vault". You can also create a custom peptide from Vault → "+" if yours isn't in the library.

How do I reconstitute a vial?+

In Vault → peptide → "Add Vials", enter the vial's total peptide weight and your reconstitution volume (BAC water). HelixVault calculates mcg/unit and mcg/mL automatically, so future dose entries convert correctly.

Data & privacy

Where is my data stored?+

Locally on your device, in Apple's secure on-device storage. Optionally synced through your personal iCloud if you turn on sync. We never have access to your data.

How do I enable iCloud sync?+

Settings tab → Sync → toggle "iCloud Sync". You must be signed in to iCloud on the device. Initial sync can take a few minutes depending on your vault size.

How do I export my data?+

Settings → Data → Export. Choose CSV or JSON. The file is saved to Files or shared through the standard iOS share sheet.

How do I delete my data?+

Delete records individually, or use Settings → Data → Erase All Data. Deleting the App from your device also removes all local data. iCloud data can be erased from Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → HelixVault → Delete Data.

Apple Health

What Apple Health data does HelixVault use?+

With your permission: HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, body mass, lean body mass, and body fat percentage. All read-only. HelixVault does not write to HealthKit.

How do I revoke Health access?+

iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → HelixVault → Turn Off All.

Subscriptions

How do I cancel my subscription?+

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → HelixVault → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I get a refund?+

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the HelixVault charge, and request a refund.

I was charged but can't access premium features.+

Settings → Subscription → "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription. Still stuck? Email us.

Troubleshooting

The app crashed or froze.+

Force-quit and relaunch. If it happens repeatedly, email us with your iOS version and what you were doing when it crashed. If you've opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers, we'll already have the crash report.

iCloud sync isn't working.+

Confirm you're signed in to iCloud and that iCloud Drive is on. Ensure you have enough iCloud storage. Force a sync from Settings → Sync → "Sync Now".

Can I get HelixVault on iPad or Mac?+

HelixVault is iPhone-first for iOS 17+. An iPad-optimized layout is planned. Mac support via "Designed for iPad" is on the roadmap.
